About Geko Art Studio
I'm Octavio, a figurative sculptor based in Florence. I trained in sculpture at the National Autonomous Superior School of Fine Art of Perú and graduated from The Florence Academy of Art in Italy.
I am the sculptor Director of Geko Art Studio in Florence and I took part to Figurativas Exhibition in Barcelona at MEAM Museum.

I offer different types of art classes for each level (beginners to advance)
1) Anatomical Sculpture and
2) Academic Drawing.
1) The goal of these classes is create a statue of about 40 centimetres in professional plasticine. It starts from the realization of an internal structure support for model a whole human figure in a classical pose. The proportions of the human body and the anatomy will be studied in order to sculpt a more realistic representation.
2) The classes are divided into three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced.
The goal of these classes is create a drawing base/starting from the observation with the knowledge of human anatomy. We will create a whole figure, in a classical pose, following the traditional artistic technique. Following the forms and the observation of the figure the student develops the important of line language to create chiaroscuros and highlight shapes concluding with the definition on lights and shadows through the overlap and different shapes. Materials: pencil or charcoal
