Professional session guitarist open for online lessons and in Los Angeles area

GC is a very approachable and patient teacher. I always looked forward to our sessions since he would go above and beyond to teach something I was interested in (ie, sweep picking, playing faster) and break it down so that it wasn't as intimidating. We once talked about the song Tornado of Souls by Megadeth and played the guitar solo to the song the following session. I would recommend anyone to GC for guitar lessons!

GC is a great teacher and I would recommend him while heartedly. I really enjoyed the months of guitar lessons I had with him. He helped me to play all of the songs I brought to him and he gave me lots of great exercises to do and pointers about how to make things easier. He was always kind, considerate and professional and is truly passionate about music and sharing his knowledge with his students.

I was one of Giancarlo's coworkers for over 4 years at a music school in NYC, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an all-around accomplished musician who can teach just about anything. I started learning guitar from Giancarlo when I was 23, after several bad experiences with other teachers who just taught me how to read tabs and boring warm up exercises. On our first lesson, we talked about my goals and what inspires me to play music before we even picked up the guitars. From then on, he taught me how to improvise, jam with other players, and simple music theory that helped me progress not only as a guitarist, but a musician as well. Highly recommended teacher!

GC was my bass teacher for a couple of years. I was motivated to learn, he was very helpful, and while he was teaching me was the period I grew the most as a musician.
