About Louise
I have been teaching singing for 7 years, and my students range from hobbyists enjoying recreational singing to aspiring professionals and singer-songwriters.
I have had students who were tone-deaf progress to where they performed on a public stage (singing in tune!), I have trained professional performers ahead of big shows (most notably at the Clapham Grand) and I have helped bedroom songwriters develop their vocals to the point where they were ready to professionally record their work.
With over 20 years of singing experience I have performed across the UK, Europe and the US, and I am a recording artist. I have trained in Pop, Jazz and Musical Theatre and I have a diploma in Music & Sound Technology. I always try to incorporate all of my experiences when teaching.

Hello! I’m a singing teacher based in East London. I’m also a professional singer, songwriter and sound engineer, and I love teaching singing to others.
In my vocal studio in Forest Gate (currently online during the pandemic) we will set your music goals and work together to achieve them. I will push you to discover new sides to your voice and talent, and I have bucket loads of patience!

Perfect! I started singing lessons somewhat tentatively with Louise 15 months ago, and it was one the best decisions I’ve made in a long time (hence still having lessons 15 months on...) Louise has been very flexible, meeting me where I’m at, giving me exercises that stretch me, and just helping me enjoy singing and have fun in it. I’ve also appreciated being able to go beyond just singing into mixing and composing, and her coaching in these areas has been invaluable.

I have been taking singing lessons with Louise for over a year now and she is the best tutor I've had. Her teaching method works really well for me, each lesson is tailored to my needs. Me confidence has massively increase and I have much more control over my voice, and I now really like the sound of it, which I didn't before. Definitely recommend her to anyone thinking of taking lessons.
Louise is a great tutor. She was my marketing tutor throughout my BA degree, which I finished with a distinction. Lucky for me she is very patient! I understand concepts quickly, but I have always struggled getting things down on paper. I definitely recommend her to anyone studying marketing, comms or business :)

Details
These rates are for 60 min lessons, which is the standard lesson length for adults. I also teach children, and for kids under 12 I recommend shorter lessons of 40 minutes (these are £30 per lesson).
