About Ari
I am currently a full-time professional musician (songwriter, producer, and guitarist) with a focus in alternative/indie pop, dance, and r&b. I'm a guitarist by trade, and have been in music over 12 years, and producing and writing songs for 10 of those years.

I try to relate to each student individually, and start by getting to know where they're at currently with their songwriting skills and where they want to be after taking lessons. After that, we move together at whatever pace the student is capable of and comfortable with! These lessons are for anyone -- people looking to take their songwriting to the "next level" or beginners who have never written anything!

Perfect! Ari is great to work with! I love how he focuses on theory and making sure that you have the foundation down as you learn to write songs. It is super helpful to apply throughout the process and improve my knowledge of the instrument as well as create original basslines.
Perfect! An amazing production teacher and a genuine pleasure to learn from. Lessons were always encouraging, thoughtful, and motivating, and I gained a lot from working together. I’m currently pausing to focus more deeply on songwriting for a short period, but I truly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely love to work together again in the future. Highly recommend!

Perfect! I came to Ari to understand music theory better and because he’s also great with music production, songwriting and guitar, the combination is awesome in terms of a learning experience. Though I have only had one session with him, I think he did a phenomenal job and right off the top, he already was ready to break things down for me and I felt like I was in good hands and working with a passionate person which I appreciate. Can’t speak highly enough of Ari. He goes above and beyond to make sure his students are really grasping the material he is teaching. He takes the time to sit and go over questions, while also spending extra time to focus on more rigorous areas of coursework. If I could give him 6 stars I would!
The way that Ari is able to explain difficult concepts into an easy to understand format, really helps you grasp and learn so much easier. If anyone gets the chance to have him as a tutor, take it!
Ari really took the time to understand where my skills were before we started lessons and made clear path on how we could achieve where I wanted to get to. He was very patient with me on things I didn’t understand well and did a great job at simplifying things when needed. He helped me gain confidence in myself and my skills. Would highly recommend Ari as your teacher!
I have worked alongside Ari for years, and am constantly impressed by his knowledge in production, songwriting, and guitar.
