About Sarah
I am a patient, friendly, and dedicated swimming coach who genuinely enjoys helping people become more confident and comfortable in the water. I understand that every swimmer learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student’s abilities, goals, and areas that need improvement.
My coaching style is encouraging, professional, and focused on steady progress. I create a positive environment where students can learn at their own pace while still being challenged to improve. I believe good coaching is about more than teaching swimming techniques—it is about building confidence, developing safe habits, and helping each student feel proud of their progress.
I work with beginners as well as swimmers who want to develop their technique and overall ability. I bring patience, commitment, and a positive attitude to every lesson, and I always aim to make each session productive, enjoyable, and worthwhile.

My swimming lessons are patient, practical, and adapted to each swimmer’s ability, confidence, and personal goals. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students can develop their skills without feeling rushed or pressured.
I usually begin each lesson with a short warm-up and a review of the skills we have been working on. We then focus on specific areas such as water confidence, breathing, body position, floating, kicking, stroke technique, coordination, and overall swimming ability. I demonstrate each skill clearly, allow the student to practise, and give simple feedback to help them understand what to improve.
What sets my coaching apart is the individual attention I give to every swimmer. I believe progress is different for everyone, so I adjust my teaching style and exercises according to the student rather than following the same routine for every lesson. My aim is not only to improve technique but also to help students become more comfortable, confident, and independent in the water.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, children, adults, and swimmers who already have experience but want to improve their technique, confidence, or overall ability. Whether someone is learning to swim for the first time or looking to become a stronger swimmer, I work patiently with them and build each lesson around their needs.
