About Saskia
Hi everyone! :) My name is Saskia, I am 24 years old, and I love food, surfing, books, languages, traveling, dancing and anything artsy or creative. I have studied quite a few languages already (English, Latin, Spanish, Russian and now learning Korean) and therefore have made extensive experiences with not only learning a language but also different teaching styles. Also, I have been learning English for 17 years now and through my extensive travels I was able to improve and practice my English a lot.
I know the struggle and for me personally the biggest challenge has always been becoming more confident and fluent in speaking. Especially all the little details and cultural nuances that come with a language I've almost always only learned through conversation with native speakers. So now, I want to make use of my experience and knowledge by helping others on their journey of learning English!

Depending on the level and interests of the student I will prepare conversation topics and materials. Practicing speaking will be the main goal but we will also do exercises in reading and listening to improve vocabulary and understanding of spoken English.
After the lesson I will send all the materials discussed and vocabulary we learned together to the student so they can come back to it and use it for their independent studies. If requested, I am also happy to proofread any essays or texts if you want to practice your writing as well and we can then discuss it in our lesson.
First and foremost, the lessons are supposed to be motivating and interesting, which is why it would be good to talk about expectations and goals in the first meeting. :)

Ich kenne Saskia schon lange und sie ist eine super Tutorin. Mein kleiner Bruder hatte jahrelang Probleme in Englisch, doch mit ihrer Hilfe hat er bei allen Präsentationen und Hausarbeiten, bei denen sie ihm geholfen hat, sehr gute Noten bekommen.
