Marie is wonderfully kind and fun. I originally found her via google, and after a few weeks of lessons she came with me to help buy my violin, and helped me achieve grade 4 in a couple of years - as an untrained adult this achievement was in no small part thanks to Marie. She'll happily accept challenges (like Mendelssohn, just because I like it) and clearly loves both the music and teaching.

I truly can't recommend Marie strongly enough.

Marie is the best violin teacher for young children. She cares about my daughters (8Y and 5Y) progress, tailoring lessons to their needs. Learning violin can be very challenging for young children and Marie creates a relaxed and positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as part of the process—not something to be feared! My daughters feel happy, motivated and they gain so much confidence with Marie. If you're looking for a professional, exceptionally patient and supportive violin teacher, I highlyrecommend Marie.

Marie is an amazing tutor – not only is she a very talented and knowledgeable musician, but she explains things in a very clear way and is very patient when I inevitably hit challenges. She is very flexible when it comes to things to focus in the lessons. I enjoy each session – I'm always given huge amounts of feedback and insight each time and Marie helps with having a clear plan for going forward at the end. Marie is an exceptional violinist/teacher she delivers knowledge passion and musicality in a way that I didn’t think possible. She was born to play the Violin!
I find her informative, inspirational, and challenging which makes for brilliant lessons. She has ears that can hear every minor error, but they also hear every correct note and she’s very quick to offer praise.
