About Lyrit
I am a freelance professional violinist and violin teacher based in London. As a performer, I have worked with most of the top orchestras in the UK. In these capacities, I have toured all over the world and played on some of the world’s great stages. As a chamber musician and soloist, I have performed in all of the major venues in London. My passion for music extends to teaching where I have almost 10 years experience giving tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities. I have taught many children privately but have also worked with outreach programmes both in London and around South America, leading workshops for people with disabilities and from underprivileged backgrounds.

I believe that music should be readily available to everyone, which is why I don’t only follow one particular method. I can prepare for ABRSM examinations or any of the other traditional exam boards, I am also familiar with the Suzuki method, however I am also always happy to just follow the student and their family’s learning plan as long as it involves the love of the instrument and the music!
