About Rosaleen
I work in customer services / administration with an Irish A level equivalent in English. No previous tutoring, but I have guided my two sons to Russell Group universities. One studying a philosophy BA and the other part way through completing a Masters degree in Biomedical science at UCL.

My teaching method is heavily based on allowing the children to work problems out by themselves and then correcting or adding to their work, demonstrating why something is correct or incorrect. With an emphasis on reading, I encourage the children to read and apply the new concepts / content to their reading. Thus making them better readers and allowing them to engage with the human language through their own reading and ability to apply linguistic concepts.
