About Shruti
I am a professionally trained Indian Classical Kathak dancer and teacher with over 8 years of learning and performance experience. Kathak is not just a dance form to me, but a lifelong discipline that I continue to study and practice with dedication.
My journey in Kathak has helped me develop a deep understanding of rhythm, technique, expression, and traditional repertoire. I enjoy guiding students with patience, clarity, and encouragement.
As a teacher, I believe in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to grow at their own pace. I aim to help each student build confidence while respecting the authenticity of the classical form.

I follow a structured yet flexible approach to teaching Indian Classical Kathak, focusing on strong fundamentals, clarity of rhythm, graceful movements, and expressive story telling.

My classes are suitable for school-going children, college students, adults, beginners, and intermediate learners. Personalized attention is given to every student, making the learning experience comfortable, effective and enjoyable.
