Perfect! I am spending more time in Paris and I am anxious to be able to speak and understand French. I took French in High School and College in the US so I have a basic understanding of grammar but my education did not prepare me for speaking French in the real world. I took a class at the Alliance Francaise in Paris at one point and it was not helpful at all and I became discouraged. The vocabulary and exercises had nothing to do with real life conversations and scenarios. I decided it was best to find a private tutor and I'm thankful I found Isabelle. She has helped me tremendously with my comprehension and speaking. She has also helped me with my pronunciation. She understands my problems with being a foreigner trying to speak and understand French in Paris. She has helped me fine tune my speaking as well as my comprenhension. The books she uses are great as the scenarios and topics are useful for every day, such as shopping, post office, making appointments, buying tickets at the train station, asking directions, etc. I finally feel like I am able to understand the questions people ask me when I am in these various scenarios. She has been patient and encouraging and doesn't make me feel bad for making mistakes. She is sympathetic understand the hurdles that foreigners face in Paris and has provided lots of tips and advice. It has given me more confidence and courage. She is very passionate and dedicated to teaching and to her students. After several months of working with Isabelle I already feel a huge improvement in my comprehension and speaking skills.

Perfect! Je me prépare à l'examen français du DELF. Isabelle a beaucoup d'expérience et ses méthodes sont très efficaces. Ses cours sont bien structurés. On aborde tous les domaines : l'écrit et l'oral, la grammaire, le vocabulaire avec des supports très différents. Avec ses langues maternelles que sont l'anglais et le chinois et son background, Isabelle sait très bien expliquer la grammaire française en anglais, en français et en chinois. Elle connaît les difficultés d'apprendre la langue française pour les étudiants en français langue étrangère ( FLE ). Cela fait beaucoup de différence dans mon apprentissage.
Grâce à ses méthodes efficaces et à ses explications de fond, j'ai fait des progrès rapidement. Je suis très confiante pour réussir mon DELF avec elle. Isabelle prépare tous les niveaux d'examen de français langue étrangère. Je la recommande vivement.
