About Greg
When I worked last year as a Focus Teacher in IMG's Learning Resource Center, the subject for which the most help, tutoring, and support was needed was Algebra. Although my classroom teaching years were mostly spent delivering lessons on Spanish language and culture, students have noted my effectiveness when helping them with math, specifically Algebra. This has led many students to think I had been a Math teacher and not a Spanish teacher. The reality is that I use similar strategies of explanation for both subjects and this has led to very positive results for students.

I utilize what I call a "kitchen sink" approach to teaching. That is, I find, from among many different and often varying approaches, the ones which work best with individual students. I am quick to add different techniques and/or methods in order to ensure that a student not only arrives at correct answers, but also develops his or her own personal "system" for remembering procedures and for utilizing them effectively.
