About Nethra

I am a tutor with a strong academic background, including your education at Raffles Girls' School and Junior College, and my interest in pursuing law at NUS. Through teaching Mathematics, I want to help students build a strong foundation, develop logical and analytical thinking, and gain the confidence to tackle challenging questions independently.

My goal isn't just to help students score better on exams. I want to make Mathematics less intimidating, help students understand the why behind every method, and show them that they can improve with the right guidance and consistent practice. I want to be a patient, approachable tutor who adapts to each student's needs, makes learning less stressful, and celebrates progress at every stage.

Ultimately, I want your students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, capable, and willing to challenge themselves — knowing that Mathematics is a skill they can develop, not a subject they have to fear.

About the lesson

Math is all about practice and patience. I tailor my lessons to each student’s pace and academic needs, whether they need help strengthening their fundamentals, practicing problem-solving techniques, or preparing for examinations. By focusing on consistent practice, targeted feedback, and gradual improvement, I aim to help students become more independent and confident learners.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where Mathematics feels less intimidating and students feel motivated to improve, one step at a time!
