About Mariafernanda
I’m 47 years old, and I love working with children, young people, or adults who want to learn. I am understanding, kind, and patient. I believe my greatest vocation in life is teaching others based on their needs. I’m also a mother; I have a 19-year-old son studying at university in Colombia. I’m currently learning English and opening new opportunities for my life. I’m married and my husband is a wonderful man.

I like my students to learn based on their communication needs, so I teach the language the way natives learn. We start with pronouns and the most relevant verbs, and then we gradually introduce additional vocabulary to facilitate communication. Repetition is key. I also use games and music as excellent support. Cooking is very fun.
