About Emily
I am a Psychology student at the University of York about to start my 3rd year of my Masters degree, specialising in developmental disorders. In my first two years at uni I have received a 2:1, and achieved an A in GCSE Psychology and A* in A Level Psychology. During sixth form, I tutored a Year 7 in Maths and a GCSE Psychology student. I have also had experience tutoring young children in karate as an assistant sensei.

My teaching method would be to encourage the student to answer some questions, such as in a past exam paper, and then we would go through this answer together using the answer guide. This would help the student understand where the marks come from as well as expand their knowledge. I also like to use flashcards to help learning for studies.
