I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and am a current student of the Bachelor of Education program. I continually update my teaching methods to align with current curricula and best practices. My approach as a tutor is first getting to know the student and their needs, what they need support in. This helps me prepare the best way to guide them in their educational journey. I believe mistakes are good and help you learn and only grow more, expanding your learning. A typical English lesson would look like: reading a story, working on comprehension questions (or other literacy aspects), simple reading and writing exercises based on the grade of the learner, spelling checks if needed.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my compassion and drive for education and learning. I strive to bring up the confidence of students and get engaged in their learning.
My lessons are for students between the grades Kindergarten-Grade 6.
