About Arden
I am going into my fourth year of university at Carleton University in Public Affairs and Policy Management. I'm a creative, theater nerd, bookworm, who is very compassionate and understanding towards others. I am a very patient person with good communication skills and have several years of babysitting and tutoring already under my belt.

Lessons would start with an assessment of where the student is and what their needs are as a learner and what the end goal of this will be (i.e. do they want to improve essay writing skills, do they need help developing critical thinking skills, etc.). For example, if someone learns better by repetition, I would have them complete a series of repetitive, short assignments to solidify a concept. If this student has the end goal of writing strong essays, then breaking down the essay into its key concepts and practicing them through repetition would be a good approach. What sets me apart as a tutor, and why you should choose me, is that I understand what it feels like to be a frustrated student. I have a deep understanding of a student's needs for a more varied method of having something taught to them as that is the exact kind of student I am. These lessons would be for students who might have these similar challenges ranging from middle to high school.
