About Eleanor
I've been teaching for over a decade and I love sharing my passion for literature and creative writing! It's a joy to guide students to a better understanding of texts and writers, and to discover their own voice. An Oxford graduate, I can teach you how to craft an essay so that your ideas are crystal clear. I started my career teaching English as a Foreign Language in Paris and in London (so I can help you with tricky grammar and accuracy too.) As a published novelist, I'm an expert in creative writing!

Each lesson is adapted to your needs and learning objectives, using a variety of exercises and approaches. Everybody learns differently! A typical creative writing lesson would be an hour, starting with a warm-up exercise and moving to some creative prompts, followed by feedback and discussion of next steps. A typical English lesson would focus on a text, moving from comprehension to analysis and written responses, all working at your pace.
