About Ashlee

Hi! I'm Ashlee Lim, and I'm thrilled to share a little bit about myself. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Education at Taylor’s University, where I am honing my skills and deepening my understanding of teaching methodologies, student engagement, and curriculum development. My passion for education extends beyond the classroom—I believe in fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every learner. As an aspiring English teacher, I am dedicated to nurturing and guiding my future students by equipping them with the essential language skills they need to excel in both their academic and personal lives. I strongly believe that learning should be interactive, meaningful, and tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges. My goal is to empower students to develop their voices, express their thoughts clearly, and gain confidence in using the English language. I can't wait to create inspiring and engaging learning experiences that will help my students grow, not only as learners but also as individuals. I believe that every student deserves a teacher who believes in their potential and guides them to the path of success.

Scaffolded Learning – Breaking down concepts step by step, ensuring students grasp fundamental skills before moving to advanced topics.
Real-World Application – Encouraging students to connect lessons to real-life situations for better retention and understanding.
Differentiated Instruction – Adapting lessons based on student needs, whether they require additional support or more challenging tasks.
Technology Integration – Leveraging digital tools such as Canva, Google Sites, and AI-driven platforms to enhance learning experiences.

Typical Lesson Length
30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and attention span. Shorter sessions for younger students, and longer ones for in-depth discussions or exam prep.
