About Ines
With a languages BA from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe from the London School of Economics (LSE), my studies have explored the role of cultural identity in shaping international politics. I specialise in interdisciplinary humanities with a focus on developing students’ critical analysis and academic writing skills. I have supported undergraduate and postgraduate students studying at Russell Group universities as well as Higher Education institutions around the world, with a focus on assisting English as a Second or Foreign language learners. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students, offering a flexible and individualised approach which welcomes diverse learning styles.

Building students' long-term confidence in their ability to improve writing skills, engagement with literature and critical thinking, rather than providing an immediate one-time fix. I can also support aural and oral learning for non-native speakers. I am TEFL certified, which has provided me with a foundation in lesson planning, classroom management and teaching methodologies. In addition to two years of live classroom experience for Studiosity- an online academic service partnered with over 200 Higher Education institutions- I have tutored EFL learners in primary education as an Au-Pair in France. I have also assisted mature students enrolled in the University of Oxford's Department of Continuing Education with academic essay writing. This means I am able to adapt lesson techniques and learning methodologies to a wide variety of learning levels and expected student outcomes. The length of a lesson may vary, although typically they are around an hour long. Students may provide a previous or current piece of work in order for me to assess areas to focus on in our session.
