About Shelley
I am a TEFL qualified teacher with 8 years experience teaching adults at top language schools in Madrid and in the UK. Class sizes have ranged from 1-1 to large classes of 17 students. Wide spectrum of teaching experience ranging from preparation for Cambridge Exams to Conversation Classes and teaching Business English.

I have experience teaching levels A2 (Elementary) to C2 (Proficiency). In Madrid, my students ranged from top businessmen to the general public. In the UK, I worked for Education First where I was teaching young adults of all nationalities.
Students' requirements differ depending on their level. As to methodology, I am trained to appreciate what is needed at all levels (be it grammar, vocab, reading, writing at lower levels) to general maintenance at higher levels (including phrasal verbs and additional idiomatic language). I have used a number of established text books including Speakout and English File. I also have an abundance of additional resources including TED talks.
