About Kirsty
London-based designer with experience across different creative disciplines. Alongside an education and career that have specifically focused on fashion design I also have a deep-rooted interest and additional experience across many different aspects of design and beauty. I think this experience is invaluable for current students. I have a particular interest in research and portfolio presentation and love the process of perfecting a layout and creating a coherent style. I am also able to give advice on basic pattern cutting and sewing including fabric selection advice and construction processes. I have lived in London for a long time now and know where to go to get all the materials needed for a successful design project.

First we will have a 30-minute consultation over the phone to assess your current strengths and challenges. Then we will create a plan of action outlining how best for you to approach the project you want to work on. I would like to recommend Kirsty to anyone who is looking to further their knowledge in research, design and technical development in fashion studies.
