About Emily
I am a half French, half British 23 year old pianist born and raised in London. I taught piano all throughout my degree, which made me realise that grades are great to have, but they’re not for everyone… I try to always bring it back to having fun, because that’s what made me learn piano in the first place. (Don’t worry - I do still have grade 8 in piano, violin and music theory!)

Piano lessons were always my favourite part of the week growing up. Because my teachers made learning fun, and I (hopefully!) do the same now. I work around what you want to learn and what your goals are, that might be grades, but it also could just be learning a piece to impress your friends, family, partner… Any goal is a good goal! It’s not boring if you love it.
