Hello,
My name is Stephanie Howkins, I am 25 years old and live in Norwich. I am currently teaching Year 2 in my 4th year of teaching, I have been offering private tuition for the past year. I have also got experience in childcare and special educational needs provision.

I am a qualified primary school teacher working in a primary school in Norwich. I am currently teaching in Year 2 and I have been employed by Norfolk County Council for 4 years and I have taught across both Ks1 and Ks2. During these four years I have also taught within an SRB (specialist resource base) learning and cognition unit which supports children from across all of Norfolk who have developmental delays, learning difficulties or specific special educational needs. Throughout my time in this job role I completed many addition training qualifications such as; Level 3 in Autism Awareness and Level 3 in Speech and Language among many others.
I have been offering private tuition for children from reception - year 6 over the past year. I liaise with parents and their children in their own home and offer sessions from 1 - 2 hour weekly/fortnightly to support the children in their specific area of need. During this time I am in regular contact with the child's school and teacher to ensure that methods use within sessions coincide with those that they teach in school. A popular area for private tuition is SATS revision.
I have had previous experience in childcare as a nursery nurse before I achieved my teaching qualification, I worked in a nursery within the age ranges 0-4. I have also had previous nanny experience during school holidays and would be keen to offer this service again throughout the school year.
