Hello! My name is Ruth, and I am a dedicated Psychology graduate with a passion for helping students succeed academically and build confidence in their learning. I believe that every student has the potential to excel when they receive the right guidance, encouragement, and support.
I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and well-prepared for every lesson. I create a welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and learning at their own pace. My goal is to simplify complex psychological concepts and help students develop a deep understanding rather than relying on memorisation alone.

I am Ruth Were, a Psychology graduate who is passionate about helping students understand psychological concepts and achieve their academic goals. My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive, and interactive. I believe every learner has a unique learning style, so I adapt my lessons to suit each student's needs, pace, and learning objectives.
My lessons combine clear explanations, real-life examples, guided discussions, and regular practice questions to make complex topics easier to understand and remember. I also help students develop effective study techniques, critical thinking skills, and exam strategies that build both confidence and academic performance.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's preferences and the topics being covered. Each session includes a review of previous concepts, focused instruction on new material, opportunities to ask questions, and practice exercises to reinforce learning.
As a Psychology graduate with strong communication and analytical skills, I am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of psychology.
