About Jess
I am a 28-year-old teacher in Auckland. I live and breathe teaching. My students would describe me as being patient, fun, and supportive. I know Math and Literacy feel really hard, my job is to make it not hard! I'll make sure you have everything you need to make Math and Literacy a breeze.

I have been a qualified teacher for nearly 5 years and have tutored for 3. I have tutored students ranging from Year 2 to Year 12 with both Literacy and Math. I am passionate about making Math accessible for students who find it difficult, as I did when I was in school. Each child has different needs, my main goal is to make sure they have a solid understanding of math, while enjoying it! I also love teaching Literacy and incorporate Structured Literacy within all my Literacy lessons. Lessons are for 1 hour, although I am happy for them to be longer.
