About Kymber
I am a native Oklahoman/English speaker who’s been learning/practicing/speaking Spanish for 15 years, received the highest score on the AP Spanish test, and have a minor in Spanish to show for it from the University of Oklahoma, no classes needed. I graduated from Deer Creek high school as president of the Spanish club, French club, student council spirit president, and speech and debate state champ. I love languages, learning, AHA moments, blankets, connecting with others, and pretending I’m an opera singer. I’ve written *almost* four books of prose/poetry since graduation, and can almost always be found either resetting someone’s email password or eating a snack. My dream is for everyone to have all the means necessary to communicate wholly and fully with nothing but understanding surrounding them ️

Spanish is a beautiful, honest language, and should be kept in the simple approach it presents itself. My lessons include: vocabulary/spelling, word comprehension, pronunciation, conversational skills, grammar, & reading proficiency. Grading dependent upon skill level and willingness to participate/speak up! I specialize in students who can’t get another language to click, because they started where I did; explaining the *why* of Spanish includes 700+ years of Latin history, so expect them to sing and salsa their way into Spanish culture and language asking “how” questions instead of “why” questions.
