About Jacob
I have been tutoring students in grade 11 and 12 in mathematics (B,C), physics, and chemistry throughout 2017. An admirable achievement from my students is an increase in their studies from a SA3 to HA9 and I am convinced that with a little determination and perseverance the same can be achieved.

I am a first year university student studying both mathematics and physics and am inspired to help others gain an understanding in this field. I will make the effort to simplify (broad) mathematics in a manner easily understood to someone new to the content and challenges. Regardless if you're a visual, analogical, or structured learner I am convinced I can find an approach to the contexts that will leave you saying "Huzzah! I get it!"

Perfect! Jacob is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with mathematics.
Prior to lessons, Jacob has looked and worked through the content I am doing at school. This is so he could prepare modelling and problems solving questions to work through together in the lesson (the area of which I am struggling). He made sure that I understood every step we did and why we did that.
Jacob is very easy to talk to and welcoming and positive.- Anna demonstrates logical and methodical approach to stimuli which is easily adaptive and strengthened once a physical understand is provided.Jacob's response :

Jacob is able to teach his students in ways that are more effective than a classroom environment. His knowledge in mathematics, combined with his coherent and concise explanations of logical problems, demonstrates his proficiency in the field. Furthermore, his young age makes him a more approachable and relatable tutor -- effectively making the tutoring session a much more pleasant experience.
As previous high school classmates, and as long life friends, I could not stress enough not only how adept Jacob is in mathematics, but how his resourcefulness and communications make him the perfect maths tutor.Jacob is really friendly and reliable.
