About Margaret
I have been a primary classroom teacher and reading teacher for over 20 years. I have seen great improvements in reading with the students in my small groups and individual one on one instruction, with students' moving up in reading levels and writing proficiency.

I have a Master's Degree in Education, certification in Reading Recovery as well as a degree in Spanish and French. I follow a lesson frame that includes writing for fluency, practicing reading behaviors on engaging texts, and direct instruction on improving vocabulary and spelling.
