About Joe
I’m an experienced tutor and professional musician with a genuine passion for teaching and helping others grow in their craft. Over the years, I’ve toured internationally as a guitarist for a variety of artists and performed worldwide under my own alias, J-Felix. My work has been released both independently and through respected record labels, and I’ve collaborated on projects with artists including Kojey Radical, Mahalia, Payfone, Harleighblu, and The Ragga Twins.
I have an eclectic taste in music and enjoy supporting students from a wide range of musical backgrounds—whether they’re developing their technique, refining their production skills, or building confidence as creative artists.
Alongside my performing and production career, I’ve taught privately and at leading institutions such as WaterBear and BIMM Brighton. I hold a Level 7 qualification in Music and Education, ensuring I bring both real-world industry experience and a strong pedagogical foundation to every session.

Hands on, practical lessons tailored to your goals and needs. Typical lengths of sessions will be 45-60 mins with tasks set between sessions to encourage progress. I can teach on Logic Pro and Ableton as well as provide DJ and instrumental lessons.
Lessons can be tailored for any age or level and I am experienced in teaching students with SEN. I like to get to know my students, their music taste and goals to ensure you get the most out of your lessons.
