About Ola
My name is Ola, and I recently completed my BA degree in Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Currently I am preparing myself for Research Master's program I intend to start at the same university next September. As an international student from Poland, I understand the challenges and anxieties of preparing to study abroad. I remember how difficult it was to find a tutor who could not only help me practice my language skills but also guide me in applying those skills in an academic context.

As an international student from Poland, I understand the challenges and anxieties of preparing to study abroad. I remember how difficult it was to find a tutor who could not only help me practice my language skills but also guide me in applying those skills in an academic context. This is why I decided to become a tutor myself. I aim to support you in enhancing your English language proficiency while preparing you for its practical use in your studies. In my classes, I emphasize close readings of academic papers and ensure that you not only speak well but also know how to articulate your knowledge effectively - in speaking as well as in writing. Since I specialize in the humanities, I am particularly enthusiastic about working with students interested in subjects related to literature, cultural studies, media studies, linguistics, or social sciences, such as political science and psychology. Additionally, I can assist you with applications for Dutch universities. :)
