About Cheryl

As a real estate investor of buy and holds for many years I managed my own properties which entailed screening prospective residents, facilitating maintenance & management of payments as well as moveouts. I also have an extensive background in lending: Commercial, Construction, Fix/Flip, Purchase, Refi/Cash Out. I know the ins and outs of qualifying borrowers based on cash flow, credit, property, experience, market data and the like.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is to start with the basics first. For example, real estate investors need to first identify good properties. It doesn't matter how good of a borrower you are till that first basic step is understood.
The second step is to understand what makes a good investor. A good investor is contingent not only on the merit of the borrower's cash reserves, but also on the merit of the borrower's experience matching the investment.
The third step is understanding how to put together a good portfolio of real estate investments.
The fourth step is an open forum of question and answers in which I allow ample time for any questions to be answered that have not already been addressed.
