About Soumi
I'm a bachelors in Sanskrit and MA in music, done from Rabindra bharti vidhyalay. I myself have learned singing from renowned artists such as Rajendraprasad Hajari ( fun fact : he also taught Arijit Singh who was in a previous batch !) Promita mullick and Sraboni Sen. I am teaching indian classical and rabindrasangeet for more than a decade now and consider myself to be one of the best in this field not only as a singer but as a teacher as well

In my opinion, teaching any arts subject, especially music or arts depends on the caliber of the student itself. So I tend to base my methodology of teaching on the basis of the student's pre developed skills or merely begin from forming the very roots on which any form of indian singing is based on.
