About Alyssa
I am a writer, crafter, outdoor enthusiast and recent graduate from Utah Valley University. I taught English to children (ages ranging from 7-17) in China and tutored foreign exchange peers at my university. I like making learning fun and accessible to every level.

I like to begin each lesson by asking the student to tell me what the assignment is (that way I understand what it is they have been asked to do while seeing what the student understands about the assignment). I typically always have the student read their work aloud to me (they almost always find their own mistakes that way). I try and help them come out of their comfort zone and learn new ways to express themselves through words.
