About Emily
I started my musical career at age 3, playing violin. At age 6, I started my first piano lessons and the rest is history. Music has always been a huge part of my life and if you are looking to start music lessons, I’m sure music has impacted you at some point in your life as well. Not only do I have a degree in music, I have clocked over 200 hours teaching over the past year between classes at Stetson or paid technician jobs working for four different high schools across central Florida teaching marching percussion! I am also part of an independent indoor marching group called Atlas Percussion on the marimba line!

I recently graduated in December of 2022 from Stetson University, obtaining a bachelors degree in Music with an outside field in Education. I have had 3.5 years of music education courses on how to teach music as well as many years of percussion studies including rudimental snare, drum set, mallet percussion, world percussion, and composition. I cannot wait to meet you and help you kick start your learning in music!
