About Jaime
I graduated top of the honors college at my undergraduate institution. My undergraduate research in philosophy took me to MIT and Harvard where I worked with the Chair of the philosophy department for 10 weeks to develop a research paper.
On top of this I was a graduate teaching assistant for 3 years at Texas Tech's Masters program. This alone was valuable experience in conveying difficult materials to students. I tutored for 1 year during my Masters program as well.

I have many years of experience teaching philosophy to undergraduates. I have taken students from making Cs to As in analytically demanding courses such as philosophy of language.
Examples seem to be the driving force in teaching technical philosophical topics. Making a concept relatable and instructing how to implement its use, on a whole, seems to work.
Another important aspect of philosophy is how to write it. Clear and descriptive prose will be something that will be essential in nailing a paper.
I work by understanding where the student stands and meeting them where they are. Id hope to meet to assess the students needs and go from there.
