About Somang
Having taught English to a variety of personalities and across different ages, I have gained a lot of experience in engaging different kinds of students. With both academic credentials, tutoring and professional experience, I aim to not only deliver knowledge and equip my students with practical skills, I hope to encourage and inspire them to reach their full potential!

I tailor my lessons to the individual and specific needs of the student so that it is effective and engaging! In consultation with what topics interest the student, I will choose a topic among contemporary issues and give the student 2-3 news articles to refer to. The student will be asked to write an essay and I will offer detailed feedback on how to improve. These lessons are for an upper highschool student but can be tailored for younger students.
As a tutor, I make the lessons fun and enjoyable, so that the student is engaged. I am a skilled conversationalist and have a variety of cross-industry experience as a freelance translator/interpreter.
