About Annie
I graduate Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees from Loyola Marymount University in English and Theatre Arts. While I am on the younger side, this provides an unique understanding and insight to high school and college academics. Academically, this include Common Application essays, formal research papers, and oral reports. On a personal level, I have experience going away to college and understand the challenges of balancing everything with new found freedom.

I want students to be excited about learning new things, to feel a sense of accomplishment in their work. In essay writing, I work with the student to develop a set of tools that can apply to any essay they have. This involves breaking down each step of the writing process, helping them how to write helpful outlines, identifying proper sources, and various styles of citation. My goal is to give them a tool kit of useful information that will help them in high school and beyond.
I also love deep discussions and feel that deeper discussions can bring out a student's best self. I believe that all students are capable of great things--sometimes we just need to figure out what they need to do to achieve it.
