About Stanley
At school I achieved three A* grades at A-level, including Maths, as well as an A in AS Further Mathematics. I remember how frustrating it could be when difficult topics weren’t explained clearly or when teachers didn’t have the time to go through things with patience. Because of this, I think it’s important to explain concepts in a clear and supportive way, especially when students are struggling with particular areas.

I believe difficult maths topics are best tackled through targeted practice. By working through past paper questions that focus on the specific areas a student finds challenging, they gradually recognise the common methods and formulas that appear across different problems.
