About Rakshanda
We all live in stories, so called ‘grand narratives’. Being a student of Literature, I have been surrounded by stories all the time, which profoundly changed my outlook towards human beings. On the academic front, dealing with papers ranging from “Women’s Writing, European Literature to Indian and Postcolonial Literature” with background readings related to religious and political thoughts has bolstered my own vision to contemplate the world through the eyes of others. Along with that, I opted for Political Science as a generic elective subject where I dealt with paper on “Feminism (Women, Power and Politics)” with the incorporation of race, caste, gender.

The strong emphasis on ‘hands on’ practice in my style of teaching which will foster the development of a practical aspect among students. More specifically, I believe each topic should be entailed with the critical analysis of various processes. It may include gathering, evaluating, interpreting, researching, editing, writing, reporting and presenting on a wide range of ideas which will be a new learning and exploring experience.
