About Jonathan
I have two undergraduate degrees in English literature and Russian studies and a master's degree in Slavic Languages and literatures. I have been teaching since the spring of 2018 and spent a year in Russia teaching English as a foreign language. I believe that through literature we can learn more about what it means to be human. I find that literature comes alive in exciting and unexpected ways when approached from a cultural context, and strive to help my students find the life sleeping inside of a text.
