About Brenda
I was inspired by my teachers in high school to become a teacher myself and my love for learning and passion for reading encouraged me to attend university. Throughout my 30 years of being an educator, I was continually motivated by my students to help them become the best learners they could be. Being a tutor would allow me to work one on one with the student and provide me with an opportunity to create personalized lesson plans. During my teaching career, when a student faced challenges in learning, I was able to create an environment of trust, so the student knew I believed in their ability to deal with their learning challenges. I would also develop a lesson plan that provided the student with the necessary skills needed to deal with their learning needs and challenges. I never hesitated to provide extra attention and encouragement to my students when it was needed. I strive to challenge my students and to make learning fun and exciting. .
