About Eric
I have a Master's degree. In my 30-year career in Japan, I taught at several prestigious universities including Waseda, Rikkyo and Chuo. I have taught all aspects of English, Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Grammar, TOEFL and TOEIC test preparation, even Business English. I am no longer willing to teach Business English however, because there is no such language.

I believe in tailoring my methods to the level of the student(s) and the particular skill(s) being taught. I have no particular one-size-fits-all method. I like to keep my teaching casual. I don't wear suits and ties and I want my students to feel comfortable enough to speak freely without worrying about making mistakes.
