About Erica
I am a high school student who is still learning everyday, recognizing my own learning patterns, and finding my love for teaching. By the end of my first semester in freshmen year I have taken Algebra l/PreAP Geometry/PreAP Algebra ll/PreAP Chemistry by receiving credits through middle school. I have been recognized as gifted in math, science, language arts, and general intelligences. When my peers need help understanding a topic or are struggling to pass a test, they come to me.

I aim to teach kids in 5th-10th grade who feel a little more comfortable learning from another student, and I am considering teaching as a primary career pathway for myself. I understand school at all ages can be a stressful time, and that it is so easy to fall behind in an environment of one teacher catering to 20 or more students. I do not think of any person as unintelligent and believe that with the right kind of individual help anyone can get better at something. So, weather you or your child is looking for a better grade in a class, or just need a little extra push in a subject, I believe I can help you out! I like to have students tell me what they are learning or struggling with in a class before a session so that I can make an individualized lesson for a student that will best benefit them. I do online meetings with the free program Zoom, which the student will need to download. This makes things a lot more convenient and allows for long distance teaching. Thanks!

Details
If you are in dire need to cram for a test, and do not have a scheduled meeting with me, I offer an emergency webcam session if I am available . This session will cost the amount of an in person meeting. Basically, instead of $12, I will charge $15.
