About Leonardo
I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from Sapienza University of Rome, followed by a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of Trieste. I am currently a Research Associate at a London university, where my research combines physics, chemistry and advanced computational methods to investigate complex materials and molecular systems.
My interdisciplinary background allows me to explain scientific concepts from different perspectives, helping students not only solve problems but also understand the underlying principles that connect mathematics, physics and chemistry. I believe that genuine understanding leads to long-term confidence and better academic performance.
I have experience supporting students at different stages of their education, from GCSE and A-Level to undergraduate university courses. Whether you are preparing for exams, looking to strengthen your foundations, or tackling challenging topics in Physics or Chemistry, I tailor every lesson to your individual needs and learning style.

I believe the best way to learn Maths, Physics and Chemistry is by understanding the underlying concepts rather than memorising formulae. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's improving confidence, preparing for exams, or tackling challenging university topics.
I usually begin by identifying the areas that need the most attention and then build a personalised study plan. During lessons, I explain the theory using clear examples before working through exercises together, gradually encouraging students to solve problems independently. I also provide tips on exam technique, problem-solving strategies and effective study methods.
I am currently a Research Associate in Computational Physics at Imperial College London, where I blend physics and chemistry every day. This practical experience allows me to connect theoretical concepts with real scientific applications.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I teach students from GCSE and A-Level through to undergraduate university level, including those studying Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Chemistry.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to build their confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.
