About Victor
My experience as a research engineer has given me tools and ability to explain complicated technical principles to a wide range of people and making sure they understand everything clearly so our research can be put to good use. This translates very well into explaining to students their course material and giving them the tools that they need to fully understand and succeed in their studies.

Hi there! I am Victor, I am a research engineer in the mass timber industry. I have a degree from The University of British Columbia in wood science and engineering and I have a background in mechanical engineering from ECAM. The way I teach is to understand the material and see things as they are, tools. With this, I teach my students to be ready for any problems and give them the ability to adapt and overcome!

Victor and I met on a bikepacking trip through the gulf islands. I was solo camping and was stuck on the side of the road and he stopped to help me fix my flat tire and ended up inviting me to hang out with him and his friends at the campsite. We’ve been friends ever since.
Victor is charismatic, easy to get along with, and caring. He wants to see you succeed and wants you to have fun doing it. I couldn’t recommend Victor enough to anyone wanting to learn in a safe and vibrant environment.Victor delivered an excellent service.
