About Ann
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 10 years of experience in teaching and professional work in music education. I teach piano to school and college students, helping them learn music step by step with confidence. Teaching piano allows me to combine my love for music with my passion for guiding students.
Over the years, one of my key milestones has been seeing students progress from basic lessons to playing complete pieces independently. I focus on strong fundamentals such as technique, rhythm, and music reading, while also encouraging expression and creativity. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, structured, and meaningful for every student.

My piano teaching methodology is based on motivation, communication, integrity, and creativity, with a strong focus on student growth and enjoyment. I begin by understanding each student’s level, goals, and musical interests so lessons are meaningful and personalised.
Motivation is encouraged by setting clear, achievable goals and helping students recognise their progress at every stage. I maintain clear and open communication by explaining techniques in simple language and demonstrating concepts step by step, making learning easy and comfortable. Integrity guides my teaching as I emphasise correct posture, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, and musical discipline, ensuring students build a strong foundation.
Creativity is encouraged through expressive playing, exploring different music styles, and introducing improvisation. Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, scales, chords, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic composition to support complete musical development.
