I am a retired Special Education Teacher with 20+ years of tutoring children in grades k-8 in both private and public schools and privately. I am specially trained in the Orton-Gillingham Reading /Spelling Method to help struggling and dyslexic students learn to read and spell better.

I use the Orton-gillingham Reading and Spelling Method to help Dyslexics and Struggling Reading Students learn to read and spell better. I like this method because it is scientifically based, systematic, and uses phonemic awareness as its basic approach. I also use some other methods that I have learned over the years to reinforce this method when it is not enough for some students.

I do have a cancellation policy. You must notify me at least 24 hours in advance of a lesson, unless it is an emergency, if you need to cancel. If you do not, I will have to charge you a cancellation fee of $35
