About Gary & Barbara
I train S.A.T. students in Analytical Thinking, which defeats the tricks and traps that are built into the Exam. Over 95% of my 3,000+ students have been accepted into their Dream Schools, and did not have to apply to any of their "back-up" schools.
Analytical Thinking involves thinking ABOUT the question [type, key words, tricks, traps] before diving into the question. This results in 250-500 point increases in the student's S.A.T. score.
* We can meet via ZOOM from anywhere in the continental United States.
* I tutor for ALL FOUR Sections of the Exam
* I offer discounts for multiple students --- the larger the class [up to 8], the greater the discount.
The learning curve is actually increased as the number of students increase.

I am neither a Math nor and English teacher. I train students to achieve a high score on the S.A.T., which involves developing Analytical Thinking aimed toward problem solving. Yes, the student must know basics of both disciplines, but it is not the purpose of our classes to improve their knowledge beyond that level. Many complicated math questions have "five second solutions" via shortcuts. I teach those shortcuts. The same concepts apply to the Verbal sections, as there are ways to shortcut what the question is asking.
