About Fiona
Hi, I'm Fiona! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education (B.S.) from Rice University — one of America's most academically elite universities with an outstanding chemistry program deeply connected to Houston's world-class medical and energy industries. I have 6 years teaching chemistry from middle school through college freshman year through online one-on-one sessions. My "chemistry confidence meter" has produced a genuinely powerful psychological shift in students — watching their own confidence scores climb from three to eight over a series of sessions creates momentum that accelerates learning dramatically. I have helped students earn AP Chemistry scores of 4 or 5 consistently. I was honored with the Chemistry Student-Direction Excellence Award by the Texas Science Teachers Association.
